Seeking the parent's of Sarah Wilma Duncan, who may have lived near Ethelsville, & Yorkville, Pickens Co., Alabama! Sarah Wilma married Lewis Jefferson Simpson bet. 1899 - 1904 probably in Pickens Co., Alabama! Lewis J. & Sarah were buried at Ethelsville Cemetery, in Ethelsville, Pickens Co., Alabama! They had 10 children according to birth from census record's they were; Bessie L.,wife of David Crockett Johnson. Robert Louis, born 1907, Thurman R. born Apr. 24, 1908, married Ruby Jewel StJohn. Lester C. born abt. 1910/12, Nettie M. born Feb. 29, 1912, married John Donohue Ponds. Mattie born 1914, married Shaden Brownlee, John Ed born abt. 1917, married Luvell Prescott, Raymond born 1919, Mildred born 1922, married Roy Clifton Elmore. Helen Marie Louvince born 1926, married Thomas Whitten. Several Duncan were buried at Ethelsville Cemetery! Some of them were Molley Duncan 1866 - May 20, 1911. I think she was Mary Mollie Ponds, wife of Joseph Duncan! Eliza J. Dunkin, wife of A. P. Dunkin born 1833, died Oct. 8, 1879. James Dunkin born Aug. 12, 1847, died Aug. 1868. Ellen "Duncan" Jaynes wife of L. D. Jaynes, born Sept. 21, 1880, died Oct. 1, 1941. Ellen Duncan was the daughter of Joseph & Mollie Duncan! Can anyone tell me if this is the same Joseph Duncan, who married Mary Mollie Ponds? I would appreciate any help on these Duncan & Simpson line's!
