Jim, If you can tie your Blalocks with Anderson & Phoebe Blalock who are on the 1850 Pickens Ala census, we have a connection. I always wondered if any of them stayed behind when the family moved to Ms.in the 1850's. I could not find any on the 1860 census.....Milton
