Lindsey Family in Pickens County

Seeking information about the James Lindsey family who lived in in the Pleasant Grove and Spring Hill areas of Pickens County 1855 - 1870 (perhaps longer). James Lindsey was born in AL about 1820 and died between 1860 and 1870. His widow, Susan A. (possibly Susan Lee), was born about 1820 in SC. Their children were Mary Lindsey, Samuel Lindsey (Sam), Hassentine Lindsey, James Lindsey (Jim), Sarah Lindsey (Sallie), Margaret Lindsey, and John Lindsey. All were born in AL between 1846 and 1858.

Frances Lindsey, possibly the mother of James (1820), lived in the household in 1860. She was born about 1792. I could not read her birthplace on the 1860 census and have not located her in the 1850 census. She may have been the widow of Jacob Lindsey, an early settler in Pickens County.
