Rebecca Pruett, Pickens County, AL

There is an interest on my part in learning more about a “Rebecca” born in Pickens County, Alabama about 1840, based on the 1850 US census for Pickens County, AL (she would have been approximately eleven years old). My interest in the family stems from trying to learn more about my great grandmother, Rebecca Guin. She was the wife of Zimri Guin, a farmer and Confederate veteran of Pickens County, AL. They are listed in the census 1860-1880. . I have most recently learned that her maiden name was Pruett. There was a Rebecca Pruit, b. 1841 in Pickens Co. Her father Dudley was in the 1840 and 1850 Pickens County US census and moved to Choctaw Co., MS before 1860.

Any information concerning Rebecca or her family would be appreciated.
