I am a descendant of John F. Johnson of the Johnson Journal. I worked with John Brannon in printing it -- I also have the original and a few more copies. ($15)

Dr. James Randolph Johnson, born 1824 was John F.'s brother. Their grandfather was also named James Randolph (1771-1836) I have a complete list of the 13 children you mentioned.
John D. 1798 - 1871
Jesse b 1800
Susannah b 1801
Thomas 1802
Jane 1804
James 1806
Sarah 1809
Elizabeth 1811
Enoch 1813
Charles 1815
William 1817
Martha 1820 married Hamilton McGowen
Wincy 1822 married J. F. Shelton

I have been shown the location of the Johnson place in Pickens Co., Al as well as Fellowship Cemetery where many are buried.

Have more Johnson info, will be glad to share.
