John Sparks b SC or Ky Pickens Co 1850

Since it's been awhile I thought I'd try again. I am searching for information on my ggreat-grandfather John Sparks (b ca 1800).
He was in Pickens Co., AL in 1850 with his wife Elizabeth (Webb?). In 1850 he said he was born in SC in 1860 he said KY. It is
believed that he might be the son of Jesse Sparks of Greenville Co, SC. Elizabeth was born in NC ca 1805. In the 1850 census his
son James (b ca 1827) said he was born in TN and son John (b ca 1830) in Ga in the 1860 census they both listed KY. Other
children include Mary, Eli, Minerva Caroline, Didamy, Matthew, and William H. I believe they were in AL by 1836. Any help
would be appreciated.
Thanks, Tonya
