Alfred Griffin and his wife, Sarah a. Gardner were listed on the 1850 census of Pickens Co., Ala. Their oldest child was 3 yrs. old, so I judge them to have married about 1845, but WHERE ? I have searched every where. It might help to find the parents of Alfred Griffin if I knew where!. He was born in NC about 1824, Sarah was from Kershaw Dist., SC and had a large family there, some of whom also settled in Pickens Co.. But Alfred Griffin's parents have remained a mystery to me for years. Please, can any one out there solve my mystery and find Alfreds parents.? I would be most greatful. Thanks.
