Hi Calvin, I am also descended from Greenberry. He was my ggg grandfather. I think I have corresponded with you before. I can't help you with Mary Jane fact, I don't even have her date of death. Do you?

Mary Frances Keys and I are both descended through Greenberry's son Jeremiah. As you may or may not know, Jeremiah died at Bryce Hospital in Tuscaloosa with Dementia.
Mary Frances wrote for his medical records. In his admitting records, they listed Jeremiah's father's first name as Samuel. I had long suspected that his name was Samuel Greenberry Morton and that George's first son was named after him. George's oldest son is always listed as Samuel G. Morton. I know that you have corresponded with a lot of the Morton descendants and maybe know some of George's descendants that we could ask about this. If fact, if any of George's descendants read this post, please respond.

One more thing, I am trying to get a picture of all of Greenberry's children. Do you have a picture of the one that you descended from?

Lynda Kendrick
