I want to note that Susan STONE's father is NOT Nathaniel or Nathan STONE. At this time I do not know who her father was but from my research and that of others it is apparent when searching the records that this information is incorrect. The person who originally wrote that Nathaniel STONE was the father of this line of STONEs did his research in the 80s when records had to be searched in courthouses page by page. Nathaniel STONE was in the area at the time and I believe this person simply assumed this was the case without collecting the documents to prove it. Susan STONE's mother was Sarah STONE. At this time her maiden name is unknown to me. Nathaniel STONE was married to Susannah WALLIS. Susannah survived Nathaniel by several years. There is no evidence that this is the same family.
