I am a descendant of William Melton(born 1814 in S.C.) and Francis Scarborough (born January 1, 1820 in Ala.). They married on January 2, 1838 in Perry County, Alabama. William and Francis Melton moved from Perry County, Alabama about 1849 to Harrison County (near Hallsville, Texas). In about 1857 they moved to Hopkins County, Texas (near Sulphur Springs). I was born in Sulphur Springs, Texas. I wonder if my Francis Scarborough could be a sister of James and William Scarborough?
