Do you know if this family also spelled their name WALLIS? If so, I have some names from Dallas and Talladega Counties in Alabama.

Are you familiar with MARGARET WALLIS, born ~ 1928 or 1929, the only daughter of a WALLIS male who was a car salesman and was killed ~1931 or so in a car accident. Margaret was only 3. He had 1 brother and 2 sisters. Margaret continued to live with her mother, and later they moved in with her maternal grandmother. Marg. went to college and began teaching school in 1951. Ring a bell!?
