Seeking info on Johnsons/ Hurst connections in 1840-1850 Morgan, Co. Alabama

What I really want to find is the family for my ggt. Grandfather Fielding L. Hurst . According to my Gt. Grdf's Death Certificate he was born in Alabama, possibly Morgan, County .
I am at my witts end, I have followed leads all over this country and all have led to dead ends and brickwalls , with no documetation.
Surely, someone has some relation to the Hurst or Johnsons in Mingo Co.
