Hello Sandy, I couldn't help but notice the surname Ratliff when searching for something else on this forum, my husband's great grandmother was Arleva Ratliff died in Lincoln County, Tennessee but I think her family came from Alabama. I don't know if you Anzoniette was related or not. But you said too bad the Hopewell Cemetery wasn't online. Have you tried seaching in
This is a site used for entering the cemeteries and data on our ancestors. When you get the site you want to search for non-famous people or for Hopewell Cemetery. There is a place you enter the cemetery name and the state and it will give you a list of all the counties with that Cemetery name, just pick the county you want, then view the interments.
I have a tombstone inscription book for Limestone County, Alabama which is a neighboring county of Morgan so I thought I'd check for Ratliff burials, I found one Martha and that was all. Good luck, Di
