Eric,
I have no connection to your St Johns, but live about 8 miles from Blue Springs Church, so I drove down and looked the cemetery over for you this afternoon.
Blue Springs Church and cemetery are out in the country, about 6 miles southeast of Somerville proper, in the Florette community. On a map, go down Ala Hwy 67 from Somerville to Florette.
Now, I don't know what shape the cemetery may have been in years ago, but I can't imagine it being anything but immaculate as it is today! It is a beautiful old country cemetery, well maintained and many old tombstones.
I've looked at your posting history on GENFORUM.Several of the St Johns you have mentioned in your postings are buried at Blue Springs and I visited their graves today. The oldest ones I found were Enoch J. St John, b. 10/24/1831, d. 10/1/1910 & his wife Lucy L. b. 12/22/1826 (yes, she was apparently 5 years older than he) & d. 11/2/1910.I suspect that all the others for about 3 generations descend from these two.
Hope this helps.Rick
