My North East/Central Alabama Barnett line comes primarily from Blount County. Recalling that early Blount COunty was at one time a much larger area which encompassed parts of present day neighboring counties, it is possible that some of myBlount county Barnett lineage may be interconnected with yours from Morgan County. I do not know your line. My connection to Morgan County is primarily though Daniel A. Light , the father of James W. Light who married M. E. "Bettie" Barnett, dau of I.T. Barnett. My Bettie BarnettLight & her husband James Light are buried at Center Grove at the New Salem Baptist Church cemetery located on the corner of Ausby Light Rd. [dirt] & Center Grove Rd. [paved] -They are in the older part of the cemetery located nearest the actual church building. My Barnett line: M. E. "Bettie" Barnett, dau of Isaac T. Barnett> I. T. Barnett, son of Jonathan Barnett. Jonathan & Isaac T. are buried at Salem Primitive Baptist Church cemetery near Brooksville, in Blount County, Alabama. (Coincidence ?... that both burial sites are named "Salem"...;-}---try to calculate those odds.) Best of luck with your research.
