I'm Back! :-)

Iím back!
I had Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma (Stage 4) which is currently in remission. After I became cancer free I had a bone marrow transplant to reduce the chances of a recurrence. During all this treatment my strength & energy was such that I could not go up stairs very well (lots of times not at all) and this affected my genealogy research greatly since the computer was in the basement. I tried to continue when I could but then just gave up on it so if there are any really old posts or e-mails I never responded to, I apologize.
I am still in remission from the cancer but my body has not fully recovered from the transplant however I now have a computer in my bedroom so the stairs are no longer an obstacle.
Last weekend my cousinís husband, who has just started his family search, asked me to look up something for him. I did so and it rekindled the thrill of the hunt.

My paternal grandparents were Leonard Franklin CAMPBELL who married Mary Bet FEEMSTER. Related names are: McCOMMACK (McCORMACK), HERRING, TOMBLIN, TEAGUE, WHITT (WITT), DOBBS, TODD, BODINE, & PATRICK.

My maternal grandparents were William Chester RUTLEDGE who married Tempie Emmaline HYATT. Related names are BRISCOE, HARRISON, BOWMAN, HILL (on several different branches of the family), & TURNEY (or TURNER).

Locations include, Marshall, Morgan, Dekalb, & Etowah counties in Alabama (& maybe others I donít know about yet). Various counties in Ga., Tenn., Va. & who knows where else.
