Margaret, I went back over to the cemetery early this morning to look for Mr. Powell. No luck. There are a good many graves marked only with filed stones, no markings.

This cemetery is about 10 to 12 miles south of Somerville. Tell me a little more about the murder of Mr. Powell. Was he a Union soldier ? From the area, or occupation forces? Rick
