Edward "Robert" Lee Murphree (1888-1972) Family
Posted by: Robert C. Johnston, Jr. Date: January 26, 2002 at 17:04:08

I need help locating a grave of one of my ancestors who is believed to have
died in Decatur. He and his family once lived in Hartselle around 1945. The
family I looking for in cemetery records are that of a Edward "Robert" Lee
Murphree (1888-1972), his wife Dora Davidson, and their children Lindsey B.
Murphree, Wanda and her husband Edward Miller, and Imogene and her husband
John Dourna. Also Edward Robert Lee Murphree had a neice living with him in
1945 by the name of Florence Murphree. I interested in knowing if she is
buried in Morgan Co. as well or if she married after 1945.

I need help in locating what cemetery they all are buried in. Also that
names and dates of each grave. Edward Robert Lee Murphree had a second wife
named Cassandra Sloan. I'm interested in any information about this family
and would love to be in contact with any descendants of them.

Thank you!
