Howell or Howill and Walker
Posted by: Clay Lord (ID *****1670) Date: June 01, 2009 at 11:05:26

Looking for information on Martha J. Howell (b. 1836 SC) dau of William and Jincy Howell. (Household #422 on Mont Co 1850 census) She is my gg grandmother and married Stephen D. Lord of Pike Co., but I sometimes find her maiden name listed as Walker. I notice she has a brother whose first name is Walker, so I am guessing that maybe her mother's maiden name may have been Walker. Any information on this line would be greatly appreciated.
