Margareth Oelschlegel was the sister of my great grandmother Matilda Oelschlegel and first came to New Orleans where she Married Gustav Maass where they had their children Wilhelmina, Gustav, Bertha, Irma, Paul and Herbert all of whom moved to Alabama with them, as he was an Engineer at a steel mill in Montgomery Ala in 1920. Bertha and Irma were both stenoph. at the Montgomery Newspaper in January 1920 and they all lived on South 15th Avenue. One son Gustav was an arch. in shipbuilding, but it appears he moved to Tennessee before 1930. I am interested in making contact with anyone who might have some information on this family. Gustav Sr. was born in Germany in 1857 and his wife Margareth was born in 1864. I have all the information on her and her parents in Germany and have visited the ancestral home several times.
