What Happened in 1902?

I have several family members that lived in Southwestern Mobile County that died within 5 months of each other in 1902. One of them Nancy Goff was in her 60s, but the other two were 40 and 41. It just seem odd that they would die so close to one another living in houses next to one another.

Does anyone know of any outbreaks in 1902? There are no death certificates or anything.

Any ideas?
