Lionel D. Davis
Lionel "Lee" D. Davis, a resident of Theodore, died Friday at a local hospital. He was 83.
Davis was a veteran of World War II and served in the Merchant Marine.
Survivors include five children, Deborah Ritchie of Pelham, Ala., Charles Fuqua of Magnolia Springs, Wayne Armenta of Paris, Ill., Kenneth Armenta of Capitan, N.M., and Cathy Varallo of Birmingham; six siblings, Pauline Baldwin of Dayton, Ohio, Alice Jewel Pack of Bellbrook, Ohio, Danny Eugene Davis of Wachula, Fla., Herbert Clinton Davis and Ruth L. Stamper, both of Fairborn, Ohio, and Kathy Causey of Capitan; 17 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight with the funeral Monday at noon, both at Serenity Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens.
