WRIGHT FAMILY BIBLE
Posted by: Frances Nally (ID *****0545) Date: August 10, 2014 at 07:39:19

I have recently come across a reference to a Wright Family Bible. I did not know that one existed!
My G uncle, George F Wright b 1883 in TN, lived in Blytheville, AR, filed a Delayed Birth Certificate in 1941. He used as proof of his birth, a Wright Family Bible that belonged to a cousin, John C Wright who lived in Cooter, MO. I found a census for 1940 listing a John C Wright b. 1896 in MS, living in Steel, MO, home in 1935,
Birmingham, Jefferson, Alabama.
My Wrights came from NC, several years in MS then into TN and some moved into Mississippi CO, Ark.
I've traced, downline, all the known male Wrights in my family and this is a new "cousin" I did not know about.
I'm working in the dark going backwards as I have no children for this John C. In 1900 my family is in the Dyer Co TN census.
Would like to make contact with any of his descendants to compare notes and especially if the whereabouts of the bible is known.
Fran
