Blagrave Glenn Who Married Frances Satterwhite, Newberry County, S.C.
I need some help from a Glenn or Satterwhite family member because I've exhausted all legal records that I can find. Frances Satterwhite, birth and death dates unknown, a daughter of John and Frances Satterwhite of Newberry County, S.C., married Henry Blagrave Glenn (1775-1842) ca. 1800. From the will of her father, John Satterwhite, dated 14 February 1807, it is evident that Blagrave and Frances had at least two daughters by then, possibly more, because John Satterwhite named them as devisees in the plural, but not by given names. "...also one hundred dollars to each of Black Grove Glenns daughters as they come of age..." That proves that Blagrave and Frances had at least two daughters by 14 February 1807. The only documented daughter they had that I can find was Rachel Glenn, born 1 January 1810 in Spartanburg County, S.C., and died in Calhoun County, Alabama on 13 July 1884, buried in the Boozer Cemetery at Merrellton as Rachel McElrath with her dates on her stone. At the FindAGrave site is posted her obit, plus that she married John McElrath in Spartanburg County on 18 February 1836. Please note that Rachel was born in 1810, three years after John Satterwhite made his will, therefore there were at least two daughters born before Rachel.
The 1850 Federal census enumerated John and Rachel McElrath in Benton County, Alabama, and nearby in Benton County was enumerated Henry B. Glenn, born 1808 in S.C. with wife Frances, born 1818 in S.C. I assume that he was a son of Blagrave and Frances Glenn.
My question is: Does anyone in the family know the names of the two daughters of Blagrave and Frances Glenn born before 1807?
