Dear Mr. Kerwin, Thank you for your reply. You are very knowledgeable. My Drury Jones was Born about 1810, lived in Jerusalem, Davie County, N. C., Married Alsey UKN. Moved to Choctaw, Alabama in the early 1840's with Alsey and 4 children and had 2 more children in Alabama. Was told he was the father of Mathew Jones whose mother was Sarah E. Jones (?!) After finding her in 1850 Davie County Census living with Catharine Spry questions popped up. I am trying to find who Sarah Sallie did marry and who Mathew's father was. Who was this Catharine and who did she marry. I am starting from scratch on this part of my family.
