I'm not related -
I can only get back to 1900-

1900 Flomaton, Escambia, FL
Newburn[Newberry], William 36 b. Jun'63 AL AL AL md. 10 yrs
Mary 25 b. Aug'74 AL AL AL mother of 5, 5 living
Benjamin 17 b. May'83 (prob Benjamin Franklin b. 5/6/1882)
Henry 12 b. May'87 (Prob William Henry b. 9/8/1889)
Joseph 8 b. Mar '92
Alfred 6 b. Jun'93
Lawrence 5 b. Dec'94
Kittie 3 b. Jul'96
Maggie 2 b. Feb'98
All kids shown as born in Alabama, William was a farmer, and it says he owned his home.

Do you have any idea who William's 1st wife was(mother of Benjamin and Henry?)

Only possiblity I can find is William T. Newbery married Margaret E. Hendrix 12/31/1879 Monroe, AL.

Can't find them in 1880 census.

Have you gotten William's death certificate? Does it show anything for parents?
