Looking for information concerning an adoption about 1865-1870 involving these families. (PITTS, GREEN, SIRMON) It may have been in Conecuh or surrounding counties. We know for sure that a male child born about 1865 was adopted by Daniel T. Sirmon family and there may have been more siblings. We are thinking maybe a war widow or a spouse separated from family that died....don't really know, just could use assistance. Thank you, Rhonda
