It is coming back to me a little. I got in contact with this lady who lives in Australia now, bt was originally from that part of Alabama, and she knew about these "cemeteries". She said Brownsville and Hatchet Creek WERE ONE AND THE SAME. I think the names I was working on at the time were Annie Howle and her son, Oliver Watts Howle. My family came to Arkansas from Elmore County in 1888. They owned lots of land right around where Martin Dam is today.
