Thanks Gary,
That helpsa lot!
I believe that could very possibly be them. Aaron is not born yet. His birthday is in November so he could be born later that year (1850) or even 1851.
Mr. Kirkland's first name is hard to read on the actual census and although "Suiworden" may actually be his name, I'm just going to call him Mr. Kirkland for now.
To make a case that this is the family of Aaron Kirklin, I'm going to speculate that based on the ages of the children and the age of Mr. Kirkland's wife , Mahaley, (age 28), that some of those middle children are Bass children from her previous marriage. Also, Mahaley is born in NC which is where most all the other adult Bass people in that community that year are shown to be born. Kirkland is from S.C.
11 year old Daniel in the Kirkland house would about fit the age of Daniel Bass seen 10 years later with his own household and Aaron Kirklin living with him. Joel on the Kirkland list below Daniel is of the same age and could possibly be a Bass or not.William above Daniel could probably be a Bass if Mahaley was about 16 when she had him. All three are born in AL.
The older kids Everett and Melinda were born in Georgia unlike the rest, and are probably Mr. Kirkland's children from a previous marriage. Mahaley seems likely not to have had them for her young age
The two youngest kids, Maston and Martha and possibly the third youngest, James are most likely Kirkland children by Mahaley.
*There is also a Frances Bass, female, 46, born N.C. living in nearby dwelling with children, Willis, 15, Mary 14, and Elizabeth 4
