There are many people searching for their Byers/Byars ancestors in NC, SC, GA, and all over the United States. Now and in the past there have been many Byers/Byars (spelled many ways) that came to Alabama and stayed, while some moved on to other places. The families are so tangled up that we will never untangle them unless we use the newest Genealogical tool, DNA. It is painless and simple.
