I was hoping someone local would provide you some information but that didn't happen, so heres what I have:
I traveled through Carrville many times during the 60s when I lived in Montgomery. One source says Carrville was named after Jesse A. Carr, who settled in the area in 1820s.
Historical Atlas of Alabama: "PO open 1894-1906, named for the first postmaster. Incorporated in 1903." Carrville was shown on county map in 1973 but was missing when the next one was published in 1984. I believe it was annexed by Tallassee in that time spread. One source lists Carrville as "Official common name for a populated location within an incorporated place" Think this means Carrville is a section of Tallassee. Also official documents of Tallapoosa county does not list Carrville as a city or town.Unable to find any information on the cemetery. If I do, I will post.
Jim
