Yes, this is the family I am referring to, but have been unable to determine the father (my great grandfather ) of Laura. Laura m. William Oscar Sparkman son of Simeon L. Sparkman and grandson of Stephen L. Sparkman. Simeon and Stephen both voted in Florida's first statehood election in 1845. I am so pleased that I am a descendent of a Florida Pioneer.
