Skinner~Agee~Curtis~ of Marengo County, Al.
Looking for the parents of Mary Elizabeth Skinner, born 1833/1835 Marengo County, Alabama.
Married Isham Avery Agee in March 1848.
Do not know when she died, but she was alive in the 1910 Census of her son~William Lawrence Agee Sr, in Jefferson County, Al.
I do believe that Mary Elizabeth Skinner is the daughter of Asa Dunlap Skinner & Elizabeth Curtis, but I can find no record of her.
All that I have found is where Elizabeth Curtis Skinner, after the death of her husband [Asa] in 1837~
~married Joseph Agee in Feb. 1839.
The 1850 census shows two of the Skinner children in the household.
But, in the household of Joseph's oldest son~Isham Avery Agee, by his 1st wife, the 1850 census shows that Mary is Isham's wife.
That is why, I am trying to find all the children of Asa D. Skinner & Elizabeth Curtis.
Date of marriage for Elizabeth Curtis & Asa D. Skinner :
17 JAN 1829 , Marengo, Alabama .
Elizabeth Curtis was born abt 1813 in Tn, she is the daughter of Samuel Curtis born 1751 Md & Elizabeth W Kennon born abt 1758 Nc.
Asa D. Skinner was born in 1805 in Marengo Co. AL, he is the son of Josiah Skinner born abt 1764 in NC & Nancy Lister born abt 1777 in NC.
Two of the Skinner children are listed on the 1850 census in the household of Joseph Agee.
William C. Skinner, age given as 20, and Eramus D. Skinner, age given as 19.
William is also listed with his wife Jane S. Price born in SC & their 2 month old daughter, Florence.
Elizabeth Curtis Skinner Agee's mother is also listed, Elizabeth W. Kennon, age given as 72.
Also in the household of Joseph Agee & Elizabeth Curtis Skinner Agee , is Elizabeth's sister Dolly's, three children.

Christopher C. Watkins age listed as 15 yrs old,

After the death of Dolly Curtis [ 1815-1841] & her husband Brackett Owen Watkins [1811-1842], the Watkins children went to stay with their Aunt Elizabeth Curtis Skinner Agee.
This Mary Elizabeth Watkins, grew up & married another son of Joseph Agee & his 1st wifeSarah Elizabeth Dumas~Zachariah Dumas AGEE, he was born 1832.
