If you are referring to a Thomas M. Norris who married Elizabeth, in Madison Co. Alabama, then he is from my line of Norris's. His mother was Anny Eddins Norris who married Stephen Norris in Edgefield Co. South Carolina. Their son Anderson M. Norris was my ggg-grandfather. I think if you look in edgefield you might find something on the Leonard family. However, Thomas's father Stephen died when he was a minor and his mother Anny moved to Alabama with her father Benjamin Eddins as did some of her sons so I can't say if Elizabeth's family came from Edgefield or not.I haven't research it but thought my info could give you a direction?
