(Lee Morris- gr.son)

John Thomas Morris is still a work in progress for me as well as all of the other family members.

As far as I can figure according to the 1870 & 1880 Santa Rosa Co.Fl census, all seven children were born from Mary L. Morris. I have been told by another family researcher that her maiden name is Forbes(?) however, I have not seen that proof yet.

I don't have them on the 1885, 1890 or 1900 census but would sure love to have that info. if available. I don't know if they were in Florida or Alabama during this time.

I have John Thomas on the 1910 Esc.Co.Al-Owen precint #5 with Emaline and Lee (g-son) in the household. Lee is shown to be retarded according to the Esc.Co.Al courthouse records and the Insane Registry.

My husband descends from Lavonia Morris, d/o John Thomas and Mary. Lavonia married Thomas "Tommy" E. Franklin. Thier fist born child is Mary Ann Franklin and she married Jay Daphus Bloodsworth. My father-in-law was one of their 12 children and I married one of his sons!

If you have anything to offer on the family, I would love to hear your input. Thanks
