Simeon married Mary E Kirby born in 1836 father Lewis Kirby Jackson Co Al and had the following children:

Joseph Milton Allen Sept 14 1857 Jackson Co Alabama married Alice Lenora Dupriest Tallapoosa Co. Al
John Fletcher Allen born March 20 1863 Jackson Co Ala married Mary F Allen Coosa Co Al
Robert Wade Allen born July 2 1864 Jackson Co Al married Jessie E Gordon Shelby Co Al
Mary Alice Allen born Oct 17 1869 Jackson Co Al married Robert Daughtery Macon Co Al
Simeon F Allen served in 1st Ala Independent Vidette Calvary. He was in Company B. Captain George F Allen was commander of Company B.
Simeon and his family are listed in the 1860 Jackson Co Alabama census living on Big Coon Creek
In the 1870 Jackson County Alabama census Simeon and family are listed as living in Scottsboro Alabama next to his father in law Lewis Kirby
Simeon and Mary E left Jackson Co Al 1870 to Ark. Mary E . died on the Tn Ark railroad near Little Rock Ark
Simeon and his five children returned to Alabama sometimes before Feb 1977 to Macon County Ala where he married Mary J Daughtry Feb 9th 1877.
They settled back in Coosa County and are listed in the 1880 census living in McCord’s Ala.
In the 1880 census Simeon F Allen is listed with the following family
Mary Jane age 34 wife she is from Macon Co, Al daughter of Thomas
Washington Daughtery
Minnie age 5
George age 3
Paul
Jessie
Sarah Daughtry sister in law.
They had the following children

George Washington Allen born Aug 25, 1879 Coosa Co died 1950 Birmingham, Al
Simeon Paul Allen born Dec 15, 1880 Coosa Co died 1939 Bessemer Al
Jessie Walter Allen born Sept 2, 1883 Coosa or Tallapoosa Co
Katie J Allen Jan 4 1886 Macon Co died 1898 Macon Co Al
Simeon died May 13 1894 and is buried in the Sears Cemetery in Macon Co Alabama next to his daughter Katie and his second wife Mary J.
