Hello.. My name is Max Ard. I am President of the Baldwin County Express Inc. We are a non-profit org located in Baldwin County, Alabama. Our mission is to collect and preserve history at the local level. We have started in my local county of Baldwin. Other counties are joining us to create a perpetual online archive of photographs, documents, media, and essays in history. We invite you to add to our archive at http://www.baldwinexpress.org or go to our national project at http://www.countyexpress.org and add your own counties folder (album). We look for personal accounts of history and history in general about your local neighborhood. Please take a look at our pilot project at http://www.baldwinexpress.org to get a feel for what we are doing. We have collected over 700 old photographs of our local community. You may become a member of our group for free at http://www.baldwinexpress.org/affiliates/page/1.html All members are also members of the national project at http://www.countyexpress.org. You may upload your history by creating a free user account at either location. You will be able to upload as many photos as you like and get a free email account. You will also receive you own website automatically when you join us. Your assistance is much appreciated.
