I wrote to the Dept of Corrections and was able to get that type of information on a relative of mine...I had too prove they were deceased, I had the obit. I had to be the immediate relative...I stretched that I was a niece seeking the info for his daughter...his careless life, caused the family to be seperated and his relatives claimed he'd never been in jail, ha! I proved he died in the Birmingham jail as per our relatives, He was in Prison twice...It was a very detailed report. Good luck...
