First I want to thank you for the quick response! My research did not reveal that specific connection to Isaac, You've got me moving forward again.

Wash Swan(Ggranfather) was born between 1854 and 1858, I strongly believe that in 1870, he is with David and Ella Swan. The 1870 census says that David & Ella are Married with no children. That's why I surmised David is Wash's brother. Wash (work) Swan appears in 1880 married to Rachael,his 1st wife. I know this to be true. He also 1st appears in later census with his 2nd wife,Mariah.

On the 1880 census, I found David listed as Davis Swan with wife Ella Swan. Both were living in Madison,Tennessee. Thanks!I'll keep you posted.
