The Rev. William Carroll CRAWFORD, according to short bios found on-line, became a Methodist minister in Georgia in 1830 and was assigned to a circuit in Alabama. He is said to have married Rhoda Jackson WATKINGS in 1834 in St. Clair County, AL [some say Talladega Co.] and left for Texas that fall, arriving in Texas in Jan 1835. Does anyone know the specific date of William C. CRAWFORD's marriage and where? Also, Does anyone know the places where he preached? Where are Methodist Church records kept?
