Im looking for the parents of my GGrandfather, Daniel James Brown, who was born in Alabama in (Jan?)1842. He was married to a "Lucinda" and had a son Jim (James) and later married Laura Rosanna Booth on June 29, 1896 in Sevier Co. Arkansas. He died in Sevier Co. Arkansas Aug. 21, 1916. and is burried in Cossatot cemetary
Daniel served in the 44th Alabama inf. out of Bibb co. and went to AR after the war.
He is listed on the 1900 census but I havent been able to access it to see if there is what information is listed there.
Laura applied for widows pension on Aug. 15, 1917 and his pension # is 11998.
Even with all the information I have found on him he still remains a mystery to me and my family and we really want to meet him.
