Graveside services for Mildred J. Weil Schaefer, 99, will be 3 p.m. today at Colonial Gardens Cemetery in Marshall under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at the funeral home's Travis Street location, beginning at 2 p.m. and continuing until service time.
Mrs. Schaefer died Thursday, Sept. 16, 2004, in Tyler, TX. She was born Oct. 8, 1904, in Besserner, Ala., to Harry Weil and Rosa Gross. She married Maynard Michael Schaefer on March 17, 1943, in Weatherford. Together they owned Michael's Beauty School in Longview from 1959 to 1983, and Michael's Beauty Salon in Marshall TX from 1950 to 1959.
She is survived by one daughter-in-law, Johnnie Cohen of Cleburne; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
Flowers are permitted or memorials may be made in Mrs. Schaefer's name to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society
