Hi, I'm looking for information on Emma Kitchens, who married Robert Barber some time in the early 1900s. I have very little information on either of them, but I was wondering if any of you Kitchenses know of a branch of the family connected to Robert Barber. They had seven kids, two of whom died very young, two of whom are still alive (Mary Ruth Barber-Russo is the only full name I have). The others have all passed away in the last 20 years. I also know that Emma Kitchens' mother was named Pluma, and I believe Pluma's maiden name may have been Covington or Covingtons. The name "Pearl" has come up a few times in my research--again, very scant information, but it might be a first name passed on in the family. The family is, I believe, mostly from the area of Etowah County, Alabama, although a little bit of evidence has suggested to me that part of the family may be from east Tennessee. If you can provide ANY further information at all, I would be very grateful. Thanks! --Jennifer Notify Administrator about this message?
