Hello All Mixon's,
I'm searching for any living relatives of my father. I don't know a lot about him, but I do have a picture of him that I will be happy to share, if you think you may know him.
Born in Alabama, possibly Selma
Fathered 3 children other than myself;
Sonja, Clark, and James Jr.
Killed in Chicago Il, 1958 or 1959.
Age at death: about 37
I know that he had at least one brother and one sister. I kind of remember the name Otis (may be his brother).
My birth certificate states that he was 34 when I was born (though his name was legally omitted).
I know that my brothers played a horn of some sort, and I was told that my sister played piano. My mom has an old picture of one of my brother's with his horn in his hand.
I would really like to connect with any member of his family.
