About 1900 Samuel Louis Strange and Samantha Gaybrowl Nixon-Strange move from LaCabe County or DeKalb County Alabama to Texas...Sam and Samantha were both born in about 1872. I think Sam's fathers name was William Berry Strange..
I know nothing of the Nixon's...they already had a couple of children when they moved. maybe named Oma & Othar. they lived in Texas until about 1934-35 and moved again to Comanche, Oklahoma. At this time they were over 60 years old and had raised 10 kids of their own, 2 grandchildren-Linnie and Jeff Lindsey children of their daughter Oma (Omie) and was involved in the rearing of other grandchildren, Nina Margaret, Samantha, Raymond Rhoden and Thomas Rhoden. They both lived long lives (over 90) spending their last years in a rest home and passed away at Comanche, Oklahoma- They are both buried in the Comanche Cemetary. WHAT DO I WANT....I WANT TO KNOW WHERE IN TEXAS THEY WENT TOO. ALSO WHO SAMUEL'S BROTHERS AND SISTERS WERE, I WAS TOLD HE HAD 7 SIBLINGS............
