Hi, I am looking for information on David Settle who is my ggg grandfather, I am reasonably sure that he was born in NC abt1785 and ended up in Murfeesboro, Tennessee where he met and married abt 1808 Nancy Mathis born abt 1789 in Murfeesboro, TN, I believe that both died in Jackson County, Alabama as I have found his name on some property transactions there. Their oldest son William Wayne Settle born in 1809 in Murfeesboro, TN married in 1832 in Missouri Sarah Barrett(b abt 1817 in Alabama)after traveling with the Barretts from Alabama to Missouri. Anderson Settle his brother born abt 1811 TN married Elizabeth Barrett in Missouri, and his brother Peter born abt 1815 TN married Rachel Street in Missouri, I hope we can go on back from here to learn who David's parents were, If anyone knows please let me know.
