Lisa,
Darlin Hand was connected to my Granddad Dave McHenry he lived about 1/2 mile from the Gristmill. His 2nd wife was Penny Hand she is buried at Pleasant Hill Baptist church near Boaz. This would be near Sardis. I remember them talking about Uncle Darlin Hand.
Not sure if he was Penny Hand McHenry Dad or uncle.
