Don't know if your still out there or not.

Not sure of the answer to your question but I also am searching for information on Sarah E. Pendergrass who m. Sidney M. Pruitt, my great great grand parents. In searching I found a cemetery with at least 2 of their children buried and a couple of their grand children too. I also find buried there
John Benjamin Pendergrass d. 1843, Elizabeth P. d. 1849 at 63, Elizabeth wife of B. Pendergrass d. 1842 and Benjamin Oliver, Capt. Sevier's Regt. Rev. War d. 1840. This is in Marshall Co., AL.
I understand that John P. married Elizabeth Oliver d. of Benjamin Oliver .
My Sarah E. Pendergrass Pruitt's grave stone shows her b. Dec. 25, 1853 and d. July 5, 1915. She and husband Sidney M. Pruitt are bur New Bethel Cem, Mississippi however Sidney's family lived in Marshall Co., AL. and Sidney w/family of his own moved to MS when grown.
Found someone who stated they were m. by Isaac Childers/Childress. Looked into that direction and find a Sarah P. of James P and Mary A or Maryanne Childers/Childress (mother on 1870 census Delila Childress has their children, her grand children, including Sarah E. in her household along with Delilah's own son and Maryanne's brother Isaac possibly who m. Sarah E. P. and Sidney M.)
My Sarah E. seems to belong to the Pendergrass / Childers lines but then what are her children and grand children doing in the graveyard with the Pendergrass' of this other line and Mr. Oliver? Seems like a connection, I can't figure it all out myself.
The Pendergrass lines are very confusing and there's more than one Sarah E. in the lines in AL. at the right time.
Doubt I did anything to help you but that's the information I have from Federal census'. Still trying to figure out which one is mine. Darlene
