My aunt Rebecca Parker wed J. Davis Hill September 28, 1877 in Marshall County, Alabama.James M. Sutton J.P. performed the ceremony at the house of the brides mother- Nancy Parker.I never knew what happened to this family. They did not move to Ellis County, Texas with the others. But, a researcher working on the Kennemar side (Rebeccas sister Lucinda had married a David Kennemer) found a copy of the 1900 Ellis County Census and in the household living with David and Lucinda Parker Kennamer and their family was Luke Hill (who was born in May 1878)Luke was a Hill, not a Parker and was born after Rebecca was wed to J. Davis Hill.He may have moved to Oklahoma with his aunt and uncle but I will have to check this for you, by the way they lived in Ellis Co from @ 1890-1900, then back to Alabama and then to OK.The Kennemer researcher is Tom Glad at [email protected]

As for my line.I am down Rebeccahs sister Sarah Parker Bensons line. She died in Ellis County, Texas.I am not actually a blood descendant. Her step son by William Benson was my great grandfather- John and he settled in Kaufman County, where most of us still live.
If your grandfathers name was Parker I don't know how we could be related. The only male on the Parker line is William Parker (brother to Sarah, Lucinda and Rebeccah). He wed Rachal D. Bronner Feb. 5, 1880 in Marshall Co., AL and I have a list of their children. His wife Rachel died early in life and he raised his children on his own in Ellis County, one of his sons played in the early western swing band "the Lightcrust Doughboys", they played with Bob Wells, his name was John and he played the piano "Knocky".Sorry I couldn't be of more help to you.
