Mary Bertha Johnson, 97, of Red Bay, Ala., died March 27, 1989 at the Masonic Nursing Home in Montgomery, Ala. A native of Marion County, Ala., she was a resident of Montgomery for 12 years. She was a homemaker, a member of Red Bay United Methodist Church and the widow of Luther Dale Johnson. Services were March 29 at the Red Bay United Methodist Church with burial in the Bexar United Methodist Church Cemetery near Hamilton, Ala. Senter Funeral Home of Fulton was in charge of arrangements.
Survivors included one daughter, Ruth Lee of Parrish, Ala.; four sons, Burnes Johnson and Jimmy Johnson, both of Montgomery, Ala., H. B. Johnson of Dennis and Arlin Johnson of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.; one brother, Thomas Edwin Fredrick of Memphis; 10 grandchildren.
